  2. Stir in the tomato paste, smoked paprika, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and Dijon mustard.
  3. Add the beef broth and increase the heat to high to allow it to come to a boil. Once it starts boiling, add in the uncooked macaroni noodles.

  • 1 pound extra lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 3/4 cup reduced-sodium beef broth
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni pasta (I use whole wheat or fiber-enriched)

    My kids love this hamburger helper! This is the one dinner that they always ask for seconds (which doesn’t happen very often). I love how it’s made all in one pot too!
